Why Weredi

Most EDI vendors show you a brochure. We show you the spec.

The full specification for every partner in our network, a validator that checks your own file against it, and the price — all public, all free, no account, before you ever talk to us.

No account, no email, no call.
355
partners published
1,564
guides, segment by segment
111,293
accepted codes documented
AI, where it earns its place

AI reads the spec. The standard checks its work.

Implementation guides arrive as PDFs — hundreds of pages, a different layout from every partner. Weredi reads one and builds the working guide from it, then verifies every segment against the X12 standard before it is used. What a mapping analyst does in weeks takes minutes, and nothing is taken on trust.

Classic X12 guides, spreadsheet exports, vendor templates, prose with annotated samples — it reads what your partner actually sent, not a format we insisted on.
Nothing is taken on trust
Every extracted segment is checked against the X12 standard — elements, data types, lengths and valid codes — before it is saved, and each one carries a confidence score you can see. The AI proposes; the standard decides.
Catch it before the chargeback
Once the guide is in, every document is checked against it automatically. Missing segments, bad codes and wrong lengths surface as warnings on your screen — not as a deduction on your remittance six weeks later.
This is the part that used to be a room full of mapping analysts. It is why adding a partner does not come with a lead time.
The map is yours to change
A retailer changes their spec, you edit the map and move on. Not a ticket, not a change order, not a lead time. Most customers run the whole thing themselves — managed is available, never required.
See what you own
Every spec in the open
Read your partner’s requirements segment by segment — every element, length, data type and accepted code — before you commit to anything.
Find your partner
Find the rejection first
Paste a real document and see exactly which segments, elements and codes your partner will refuse. Seconds, not a failed test cycle.

It lands in your system
Orders arrive in your accounting system and invoices flow back out — QuickBooks Online, Sage Business Accounting, NetSuite, SAP (coming soon), Dynamics 365 (coming soon), Acomba (coming soon).

One product, one login, one invoice
Not three acquisitions stitched together with separate screens, separate billing and separate data models. What you see in the demo is the thing you log into.
About Weredi
And a few things they would have to rebuild to match
Both directions, all the way through
Orders in, invoices out, payments applied against them, acknowledgements reconciled. Not a one-way feed that stops at your inbox.
Every partner, scored
A compliance grade per trading partner, built from what they actually accepted and rejected, so you can see which relationship is about to cost you money.
French and English, throughout
The platform, the guides and the support all work in both languages. This page does too — that is not a translation layer bolted on for Québec.

Questions buyers ask

What is Weredi?

Weredi is a Montréal-based EDI platform for Canadian suppliers. It reads your retailers’ EDI specifications, builds and validates your documents, exchanges them over AS2, SFTP or FTP, and tracks what retailers deduct from your payments. The platform and support work in French and in English.

Who is Weredi for?

Suppliers and manufacturers whose retailers, grocers, distributors or 3PLs require EDI, and who want one flat price instead of fees per trading partner or per document.

How is Weredi priced compared with other EDI providers?

Weredi charges one flat monthly price, from $199 CAD, with unlimited trading partners and unlimited transactions. Adding a partner or sending more documents does not change the price.

Can I see my retailer’s EDI requirements before signing up?

Yes. The Weredi network publishes the EDI specifications of more than 350 trading partners, segment by segment, with a free validator that checks your own file against them. No account is needed.
